Violin

Anna Darani was born in 1980 in Locarno,  Switzerland.
  She studied volin with Gunars Larsens at the Musikhochschule Luzern from where she finished his Teacher Diploma in 2005. She also studied viola with Michel Rouilly at the Musikhochschule Zurich and with Isabel Charisius (Alban Berg Quartet) at the Musikhochschule Luzern where she got the Orchestral Diplome in 2010. She has taken several masterclasses with Isabel Charisius, Michelle Makarski and Guarneri Trio Prag.
  She has played in several Orchestras like the Opernhaus Zürich, Britten Pears Orchestra (UK), Lucern Festival Strings, Sinfonieorchester St.Gallen, 21th Century Orchestra, Orquestra USP (Sao Paulo).
   Anna Darani is also a Tango Argentino Dancer and teaches in the Tango club El Social in Zürich. She has taken tango lessons and workshops with: Julio Mendez, Federico Naveira&Ines Muzzopapa, Geraldine Rojas, Gisela Natoli&Gustavo Rosas, Bilijana Lipic, Chiche Nunez, among others.
